KATHMANDU: The shooting of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Cha Maya Chhapakkai 2’ is currently underway in Nuwakot, with the project moving into its final phase.

The film, produced under the team of Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula, has already generated strong buzz, although its full cast list has not yet been officially revealed.

So far, the production team has confirmed appearances of Deepak Raj Giri, Keki Adhikari, Sanisha Bhattarai, and Nirmal Sharma, while keeping several other cast members under wraps to maintain suspense.

However, one of the key surprises came when actor Rhyaan Giri indirectly confirmed his involvement by sharing a behind-the-scenes video from the set on Facebook, announcing the beginning of a new project.

His participation had not been officially disclosed by the makers.

Rhyaan Giri, who began his acting career with Hostel 3, is now working on his third film with ‘Cha Maya Chhapakkai 2’.

He recently completed shooting for ‘Aahuti’ and is also preparing for his upcoming film ‘Timi Mero Ma Timro’.

After gaining popularity through The Voice of Nepal, he has been increasingly active in acting alongside his music career.

Directed by Dipendra Lama, the film will notably not feature Kedar Ghimire and Jitu Nepal in this installment.

While Ghimire was initially expected to appear, his current stay in the United States due to green card processing has prevented his participation, leading the team to bring in other actors in his place.
