KATHMANDU: Actress Miruna Magar recently experienced what she describes as a heartfelt “fan moment” after meeting her childhood idol, Niruta Singh, in Kathmandu.

The reunion, which took place earlier this week, was more than just a casual encounter for Miruna.

Sharing her emotions on Facebook, the actress revealed that she had first met Niruta when she was just eight or nine years old during a film shoot.

Alongside a photo from that childhood meeting and a recent picture with the veteran actress, Miruna reflected on how the experience brought back fond memories.

“I had the opportunity to meet Niruta Singh ma’am when I was very young. At that time, I could never have imagined that I would become an actress myself,” Miruna wrote. “I grew up watching her films and dancing to her songs. She was my inspiration then, and she continues to be one today.”

Miruna said the recent meeting deepened her admiration for Niruta, not only as a celebrated performer but also as a person.

“Meeting her again after so many years has only increased my respect and appreciation for her,” she wrote. “She is not just a star; her personality is equally inspiring. She embodies talent, beauty and kindness. She is every bit as graceful and beloved as I remembered—and even more inspiring.”

Niruta responded warmly to the tribute, sharing Miruna’s post on her Facebook and Instagram stories with the caption, “My little star.”

The two actresses met at Ananik, a beauty salon in New Baneshwor owned by Surabin Rai.

During their conversation, they reminisced about watching each other’s films and expressed interest in collaborating on a movie in the future.
