Protest in Kathmandu calling Minister Kirati’s resignation (photos)

KATHMANDU: A demonstration was held in Kathmandu on Monday demanding the dismissal of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, who expressed against Sanatan Dharma-Culture.

On the call of the entire religious society, a demonstration was held from Gaushala in Kathmandu on Monday.

During the program called by several Hindu organizations, slogans were chanted against Minister Kirati.

Protesters held signs demanding Minister Kirati’s resignation.

Minister Kirati stated recently on a Kathmandu show that individuals who do not embrace Christianity are against the constitution.

His expression has received a lot of flak. Protesters stated they will march from Gaushala to New Baneshwor on Monday.
