KATHMANDU: In Ilam-2, Maoist candidate Suhang Nemwang is leading by 10,419 votes, according to the latest publicized results by the Election Commission. Suhang has garnered 10,419 votes.

In second place is Congress candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka, who has secured 7,662 votes, trailing behind Suhan by 3,757 votes.

Identity-based party candidate Independent Dakendra Singh Limbu is in third place with 5,761 votes, while Rastriya Janamorcha’s candidate Milan Limbu has obtained 1,443 votes.

Unified Socialist’s candidate Jit Bahadur Rai has received 158 votes.

In Ilam-2, there were a total of 115,889 eligible voters, out of which 69,287 votes were cast.

Of these, 24,738 votes have been counted so far.
