KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has released its manifesto ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives elections. During a debate on the manifesto organized by the Central Election Operations Committee on the program “Desh Pahila”, party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli outlined the party’s commitments and electoral goals.

Under the slogan “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis: National Aspiration is Our Destination”, UML emphasized the need to ensure the party’s victory to achieve these objectives. The manifesto prioritizes governance, development, employment, and social justice—areas initiated but left incomplete during UML’s previous tenure in government.

The manifesto details 11 immediate actions, 5 fundamental initiatives, and 25 resolutions.

Chair Oli stated that, guided by past experiences, UML will focus on constructive nation-building rather than destruction, aiming to reshape the country’s trajectory.

He reaffirmed UML’s unwavering stance on sovereignty and nationalism, adding that the party will not engage in populist stunts or short-term political gimmicks.
