Sudurpaschim Royals announce signing of Australian abtter Chris Lynn
Lynn has played 293 matches in the T20 format, scoring over 8,000 runs.
KATHMANDU: Sudurpaschim Royals is delighted to announce the signing of Australian batter Chris Lynn as the first overseas player for the second edition of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League.
Lynn has played 293 matches in the T20 format, scoring over 8,000 runs.
The hard-hitting batter has also represented Australia in 18 T20 internationals and four One Day Internationals.
A proven match-winner, Lynn is the all-time leading run-scorer and six-hitter in the Australian Big Bash League. He has also featured in some of the world’s most competitive tournaments, including the Indian Premier League.
Team owner Mr. Swotantra Pratap Shah said, “A player from Australia with a strong reputation in the Big Bash League was always in our plans since the first season. We are very happy to have Chris Lynn on board and believe his signing will greatly strengthen the team while adding value to the reputation of the Nepal Premier League.”
