‘Shyal Singha’ play to premiere at Kunja Theatre from June 26
The play, based on a story included in the Grade 8 compulsory Nepali curriculum, is directed and conceptualized by Tirtharaj Bishwakarma.

KATHMANDU: Ek Theatre Nepal’s production “Shyal Singha” is set to be staged at Kunja Theatre from June 26 (Asar 12).
The play, based on a story included in the Grade 8 compulsory Nepali curriculum, is directed and conceptualized by Tirtharaj Bishwakarma.
According to Ek Theatre Nepal, the play highlights the gradual loss of human emotions in contemporary society, particularly compassion and sensitivity.
The cast features Sonam Tamang, Sabin Thami, Bishal Shahi, Sermo Tamang, Sushmita Gurung, Prakash Karki, and Sky Rai.
The theatre group had initially planned to stage the play from June 19 (Asar 5), but the schedule was postponed due to technical issues.
