KATHMANDU: Dayahang Rai and actress Miruna Magar are set to share the screen once again in the upcoming film Rato Ghera (The Red Circle), directed by Anil Budha Magar.

The duo previously starred together in the director’s debut feature Gharjwai, and their on-screen pairing is expected to return with renewed impact.

Produced under the banner of Bishram Films, Rato Ghera is described as a socially and emotionally driven story that aims to blend entertainment with a meaningful message.

Director Budha Magar said the film will begin shooting from the third week of Asar, while casting and technical team selection are currently in progress.

The film will be distributed by Govinda Shahi of Kafiya Films and produced by Jeevan Gurung, who previously worked on the Gurung-culture-based film Ngolsy Rani.

According to the production team, Rato Ghera will be developed as a two-part series, with a theatrical release planned within the same year.

Music for the film will be composed by Manoj Thapa Magar. Producer Gurung stated that special attention is being given to ensure a strong narrative, high production values, and a visually compelling presentation.

He added that the involvement of experienced actors and a skilled technical team will further strengthen the film’s overall impact.

Additional cast and crew details are expected to be announced in the coming days.
