KATHMANDU: In Saturday’s English Premier League action, Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Amex Stadium.

Yann Kubo Minte opened the scoring in the 8th minute, calmly rounding the goalkeeper to put Brighton ahead.
Yassine Ayari doubled the advantage in the 31st minute with a stunning strike from outside the penalty area, giving the home side a two-goal cushion.
However, Tottenham fought back before halftime as Richarlison converted a Mohamed Kudus pass in the 43rd minute, keeping Spurs’ hopes alive.
In the second half, Tottenham applied relentless pressure, and in the 82nd minute, Jan Paul van Hecke inadvertently scored an own goal, allowing Spurs to level the match. Van Hecke failed to clear Kudus’ dangerous cross, sending the ball into his own net.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Leeds United secured a 3-1 victory at Wolverhampton, Burnley and Nottingham Forest played out a 1-1 draw, and Crystal Palace claimed a 2-1 win away at West Ham.
