PM Oli: Nepal achieves record Rs 277 billion in exports

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that Nepal has achieved a historic milestone in exports during the fiscal year 2081/82.

Sharing the update via social media, PM Oli revealed that the country exported goods and services worth Rs 277.03 billion during the year — the highest in Nepal’s history.

Comparing it to the previous fiscal year, he stated that before his government assumed office, total exports stood at only Rs 152.38 billion. “This year, we have achieved a record-high export figure. Nepal successfully exported goods and services worth Rs 277.03 billion,” PM Oli wrote.

He further emphasized that the export growth represents a significant 81.80% increase compared to the previous year.
