PM Oli: Kirtipur Cricket Stadium near completion

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the construction of the Kirtipur Cricket Stadium has reached its final phase.

Taking to social media today, PM Oli mentioned that the contractor company failed to complete the stadium on time, and is now continuing the work while paying a penalty.

“Despite working in three shifts, delays occurred due to rainfall and other technical reasons. However, the government has now introduced a reward and penalty system to ensure results and accountability in construction projects, which is a positive step,” PM Oli wrote.

He also added that the same system will be enforced in other government infrastructure projects to improve efficiency and discipline.
