MP Bhattarai claims Congress–UML alliance has ensured political stability
MP Bhattarai said that political stability has paved the way for development and prosperity. He credited the government’s success with preventing attempts to restore monarchy and curb anarchy.
KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) lawmaker Gopal Bhattarai has claimed that the coalition government formed by the Nepali Congress and UML has brought political stability to the country.
Speaking at Tuesday’s session of the National Assembly, MP Bhattarai said that political stability has paved the way for development and prosperity. He credited the government’s success with preventing attempts to restore monarchy and curb anarchy.
He also stated that the economy is gradually regaining momentum, with the threat of financial crisis easing.
According to him, the current government has fostered a sense of positive psychology among the public.
Highlighting the government’s achievements, Bhattarai pointed to progress in electricity production and export, as well as in lawmaking.
He emphasized the National Assembly’s role as a key legislative body and called on all members to engage seriously in the lawmaking process.
