KATHMANDU: Manchester United secured a 2–1 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

The match turned dramatic early as Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez was shown a red card in just the 5th minute, leaving the visitors with 10 men.

United captain Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring in the 30th minute, netting his 100th goal for the club.

Casemiro doubled the lead with a header in the 60th minute, but was later sent off after receiving his second yellow card, reducing United to 10 men as well. Chelsea pulled one back in the 80th minute through Trevoh Chalobah’s header, but United held firm to claim the win.

With the victory, United climbed to 10th place with 7 points, while Chelsea, on 8 points, sit sixth.

Fulham 3–1 Brentford: Comeback Victory

Fulham earned a 3–1 comeback win over Brentford. Mikkel Damsgaard put Brentford ahead in the 20th minute, but Alex Iwobi equalized in the 38th.

Two minutes later, Harry Wilson scored to give Fulham a 2–1 halftime lead.

The game was sealed in the 50th minute when Brentford’s Ethan Pinnock scored an own goal, handing Fulham a comfortable 3–1 win.

Fulham now sit eighth with 8 points, while Brentford remain in 17th with 4 points.
