KATHMANDU: Krishna Gopal Shrestha of CPN-UML was elected in Kathmandu 9. He got 11 thousand 956 votes.
His closest rival, Tek Bahadur Pokharel of the National Independent Party, got 10,961 votes.
Kalpana Dhamala of the Maoist Center in NECP got 6,402 votes, Devendra Pradhan of RPP got 4,785 votes and Suman Maharjan of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party got 1,552 votes.
