CPN (UML) accelerates preparations for 2nd General Convention

KATHMANDU: Preparations for the CPN (UML)’s Second General Convention have intensified, with just seven days remaining.
A meeting of the Central Coordination Mechanism for Mass Organizations was held today at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur, to review the convention preparations.
Coordinator Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal briefed participants on the progress so far and the pending tasks.
He emphasized the active role of mass organizations in ensuring a successful convention.
The meeting discussed organizational readiness, publicity, establishment of a media center, volunteer management, and broad participation of all mass organizations.
Dhakal described the upcoming general convention as a key milestone in UML’s policy and organizational journey and urged representatives to stay actively involved.
All chairpersons and in-charges of UML’s mass organizations attended the meeting.
The Second General Convention will take place from Bhadra 20–22 at the Sunrise Convention Center in Godawari, Lalitpur, under the main slogan: “Building Decisive National Power, Our Resolve; Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis, Our National Goal!”
