‘Hunter’ set for Sept 25 release, box office clash with ‘Kusti’

KATHMANDU: Jeevan Singh’s upcoming action–romance film Hunter, both written and directed by him, is set to hit theaters on Ashoj 9 (Sept 25). The makers announced the release date on Friday by unveiling a new poster.
The film will face a box office showdown with Kusti, starring Dhiraj Magar and Miruna Magar.
The newly released poster features Arjun Kshetri and Prakash Shah in an intense face-off, suggesting a major conflict between the two characters.
In another layer of the poster, Arjun Kshetri appears alongside Supragya Sharma in a romantic mood, hinting that the film blends love and revenge-driven storytelling.
Actress Garima Sharma also plays a significant role in the film, though she is notably absent from the poster, sparking speculation about marketing strategy or storyline secrecy.
Produced under Catch Cock Entertainment and Trident Concept, the film features an ensemble cast including Saroj Khanal, Ramesh Budhathoki, Rjza Raut, Roshni Dahal, Geeta Adhikari, Suraj Bhandari, and others.
The film is produced by Govinda Raj, Mamata Singh, and Raj A. Bhatt, with Manish Chand, Yuna Shahi, and Santosh Asna Pal as co-producers.
Bhimsen Shahi serves as executive producer.
Cinematography is by Krishna Thapa, action by Shukraraj Shah, choreography by Bikram Swor and Sanjay Khimjim, and music is composed by Babul Giri, Chakra Bam, and Mahesh Tamrakar.
The film will be distributed by RR Films, led by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha.
