KATHMANDU: Victims of troubled cooperatives continued their protest on Tuesday, demanding the immediate return of their savings.

Demonstrators gathered outside the Office of Problematic Cooperative Management in Buddhanagar, saying past agreements made with the government must be implemented without further delay.

They have urged authorities to ensure the refund of deposits, take action against those responsible for misusing cooperative funds, and fulfill commitments made by previous governments.

Despite multiple rounds of talks, protesters say their concerns have not been addressed.

Participants held placards with messages such as “Give justice to cooperative victims,” “The government is responsible for returning all savings,” “Let’s build a corruption-free Nepal,” and “Why no action against politically appointed middlemen in problematic cooperatives?”
