KATHMANDU: In a recent update from the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Nepal is experiencing a partial effect of the western wind, leading to notable changes in the country’s mountainous terrain.

This weather phenomenon is anticipated to bring varied conditions to different regions.

During the afternoon, the forecast indicates generally clear skies in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.

However, there is a likelihood of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki States.

As night falls, the weather is expected to clear in the remaining hilly areas of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim States.

With temperatures on the decline nationwide, the Meteorological Division has issued a request for residents to take necessary precautions to combat the cold.
