Weather: Intermittent rain in Gandaki & Koshi
In the afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear in hilly areas of the country.
KATHMANDU: The Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division has said that there is currently a partial effect of western and local winds in Nepal.
According to the department, it is raining intermittently in some parts of Gandaki and Koshi States. In most parts of the country, including the Kathmandu Valley, there is a change.
In the afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear in hilly areas of the country, including Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali States, and partly cloudy to mostly clear in the rest of the country.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi and Gandaki States and some places in the rest of the hilly areas.
Similarly, at night there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the highlands and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali States.
