Women dies of electrocution in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: A young woman dies from an electric shock while fetching water in Shankharapur, Kathmandu.

The incident occurred when Minisha Koirala, 30, residing in Sipaghat, Ward No. 6 of Mandandeupur Municipality, Kavre, and currently residing in Ward No. 6 of Shankharapur Municipality, was electrocuted while fetching water from a motor on Sunday.

She sustained serious injuries and was immediately taken to Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital in Sallaghari for treatment, where she was pronounced dead by the authorities.
