Jewelery worth around 1.2 million stolen

KATHMANDU: In Lalpur, located in Bijayanagar Rural Municipality-7, Kapilvastu, the home of 49-year-old Raj Bahadur Kurmi Chaudhary was targeted by thieves on Wednesday night.

Taking advantage of open doors and windows, the accused stole a collection of gold and silver ornaments valued at approximately Rs. 1.2 million.

Law enforcement is diligently pursuing the individual on the run in connection with the robbery, and further investigations are in progress.
