Mass murder case: main accused apprehended, sole perpetrator behind murder of 4 victims

KATHMANDU: One additional person has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the horrific murder at a mill in Tinkune, Kathmandu.
According to sources, the individual was apprehended by police in the Pepsicola area on Sunday. The man is now being questioned.
The man’s identify has not been revealed by the police. The authorities have yet to come to a decision regarding why he committed the murder.
Based on the CCTV footage, the police detained him. The authorities have not revealed all of the specifics since he is still being interrogated.
Kumar Bhujel, 55, his wife Ambika Bhujel, 50, Shubhadra Bhujel, 76, Kumar’s mother, and Nabin Rai, a young man of about 20, who has a permanent home in Morang Belbari, were killed.
They were murdered using razor-sharp weapons. The police had already recovered the weapon used in the murder.
Dipendra Rai of Morang, who went to the police station to report the occurrence, was arrested and questioned by officers.
However, according to the authorities, his involvement has not been revealed. He also arrived at the police station covered in blood.
