KATHMANDU: Tokraj Pandey has been appointed as the chief of the Tribhuvan International Airport’s customs office.

Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Finance Minister, appointed him as the office’s head.

Pandey formerly served as the director general of the National Library (Nizamati). He was only recently transferred to the Ministry of Finance.

Arun Pokharel, Chief of Customs of Tribhuvan International Airport, has been on sick leave since Ashar 17 (July 2).

Pokharel, the office’s current chief of staff, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance.

Minister Mahat changed the head of customs after 100 kg of gold was passed from Tribhuvan University.
