CIB raids Hotel Vienna in Thamel, detains 3 individuals

KATHMANDU: The police raided Hotel Vienna in Thamel.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police raided the hotel, which is owned by Dawa Lama, who is involved in gold smuggling, on Monday evening.

During the operation, police took three individuals under control.

Authorities suspect the hotel of being involved in hundi activities.

According to Police Inspector Hemendra Bogati, a spokesperson for the bureau, additional investigation is underway following the apprehension of the individuals.
