Two-way traffic resumes on Narayangarh-Muglin section

KATHMANDU: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section has opened for two-way vehicular traffic.
The road came into operation after the landslide that fell in the Kalikhola of Chitwan was cleared.
The landslide occurred at Kalikhola located in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-4 at 7 am.
As the landslide, which was not too big, has been removed, the vehicles on both sides are now moving towards their destination easily, according to the area police office, Muglin. It is raining heavily in Chitwan for the last 3 hours.
The road ssection has gotten obstructed due to the ongoing heavy rainfall.
Landslides regularly shut the road portion earlier in Ashar.
Given the risk of road closures when it rains, the police have asked that this portion of road be avoided as much as possible.
