BIRATNAGAR: Purwanchal University (PU) has started revising the syllabus of engineering subject in time.

Seventeen professors from Purwanchal University, Tribhuvan University and Manmohan Technical University have participated in the workshop which started about revising the curriculum.

In the three-day workshop, discussions will be held to revise the curriculum of various programs of the engineering faculty of the Eastern University.

According to the university, a workshop has been organized to revise the curriculum according to the international environment.

According to the university, the curriculum of architecture, civil, computer, electronic, electrical, geomedical, biomedical and other subjects under engineering has been changed and made up-to-date. Chair of Eastern University Service Commission, Prof. Maheshraj Dahal, Dean of Faculty of Arts, Education and Law, Prof. Dr. Anil Pokharel, Director of Eastern University College of Engineering, Tejlal Giri, etc. have suggested to create a course that can be sold in the global market.

Saying that thousands of students are going abroad to get higher education, he emphasized that students who go abroad for study should be kept in the country by creating a curriculum that is suitable for the time.
