20 year-old boy held for rape

KATHMANDU: Raj Thapa, a 20-year-old of Mangala Rural Municipality-3 Baranja resident, was arrested on Wednesday night on charge of raping a 10-year-old girl.

The police stationed at Babiachaur arrested Thapa after receiving a complaint that he had raped the girl into a bush near the suspension bridge connecting Tarakhet and Sirkum on Aug 21.

The police are looking into the matter further.
