Rain across the country from today, chances of snowfall in these states

KATHMANDU: The western low pressure system is currently affecting the western part of Nepal, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology.

As a result, there will be light to moderate rain in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki States in the morning. The rest of the country’s weather is generally clear with only minor changes.

In the afternoon, there will be light to moderate rain in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki States. The rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies and generally clear skies.

Light rain is possible in parts of Sudurpaschim State, Karnali State, Lumbini State, and Gandaki State.

According to the department, light to moderate snowfall is possible in some high hilly and Himalayan areas of Sudurpaschim State, Karnali State, and Gandaki State.

At night, the weather is expected to be mostly clear in the Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki States, with partial to normal change in the other states. According to the department, light rain with thunder is possible in parts of Sudurpaschim State, Karnali State, Lumbini State, and Gandaki State.

Light to moderate snowfall is possible in some areas of the Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki States’ high hills and Himalayan areas.

As rain is possible in four states’ hilly areas, and snow is possible in some places in three provinces’ high hilly and mountainous areas, the department urges residents to exercise caution and vigilance.
