POKHARA: Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, the chairperson of the Maoist Center, has been recommended as a candidate from Gorkha. Leaders and activists have suggested Prachanda as a candidate from Region No. 1.

Even before this, the leaders had met with him and asked him to run for office in Gorkha. On the women’s side, current MP Hariraj Adhikari has been proposed, as have Prachanda and Sushila Sinkhada.

Narayan Kaji Shrestha, a member of the National Assembly who was defeated in the previous election, has been nominated to the House of Representatives of Region No. 2. Along with him, party secretary Hitraj Pandey, central member Chudamani Khadka, and Lekhnath Neupane’s names have been sent.

The names of Maoist Party Central Member Amar Bahadur Gurung, current MP Lekh Bahadur Thapa Magar, and leader Parashuram Ramtel have been proposed to the State Assembly. Maoist Gorkha, Krishna Dhital, Jagannath Khanal, and Constituent Assembly member Chham Bahadur Gurung, according to Maoist Gorkha, were recommended in 1 (b).

The Maoists have recommended central members Khop Bahadur Kandel, Kamala Naharki, and state committee member Dhana Tamu in zone number 2 (a), and party central members Bhagwati Tiwari, Barpak Sulikot village party chairperson Nar Bahadur Gurung in zone number 2 (b).
