Chair Nepal pays tribute to Madan-Ashrit
Chairperson Nepal remembered the late Bhandari as a dedicated leader of the communist movement, democratic ideologue, and leader of patriotic movement.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 17 – Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has expressed tribute to the late Madan Bhandari and Jeebaraj Ashrit on the 29th Madan-Ashrit Memorial Day today.
Issuing a press statement, Chairperson Nepal remembered the late Bhandari as a dedicated leader of the communist movement, democratic ideologue, and leader of patriotic movement.
Bhandari had propounded the people’s multiparty democracy and made the communist movement popular and robust in Nepal at a time when the communists in other parts of the globe were being cornered.
Chairperson Nepal further said comrade Jeebaraj Ashrit was also an able organization builder. His role on building party norms and policy was unparallel, Nepal argued.
The CPN (Unified Socialist) is moving ahead with the aim of reaching the communist movement to a new height as per the outline of the people’s revolution drawn by leader Pushpa Lal. He also reminded that his party was made against rightist, reductionist and individualistic arrogance.
According to him, his party was devoted to establishing democratic values by fighting oppression and tyranny.
