KATHMANDU: JULY 18 – UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has resigned from the post. Rawal, who was directly elected to the House of Representatives from Achham in 2074 BS, said that he had made the decision saying that he would not participate in immoral political games. He said, “I have resigned thinking that it is better to get out of all these dirty games than to sit in them.”

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is taking a vote of confidence from today’s House of Representatives meeting. Even before the vote of confidence, Rawal announced his resignation.
