Speaker allots time to Home Minister, no opportunity to speak

KATHMANDU: The main opposition Nepali Congress also raised slogans in the second meeting of the House of Representatives.

As soon as the meeting commenced, Congress lawmakers resorted to surrounding the well of the house.

Amidst the uproar from Congress lawmakers, Speaker Devraj Ghimire gave time to Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

However, the Congress MPs obstructed them, who had already moved forward towards the rostrum.
