KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives meeting has been adjourned until May 14.

The Representative Assembly meeting has been postponed until May 14 afternoon, following uproar during the second sitting.

Nepali Congress raised demands for the formation of a parliamentary committee to investigate the alleged collusion involving Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

During the session, Nepali Congress lawmakers demanded justice for the victims of the alleged collusion, leading to protests against the government.

They warned that the session would not proceed unless a parliamentary investigation committee is formed to probe Lamichhane’s alleged involvement in corruption.
