The International Nepali Society Women’s Committee was formed under the leadership of Dr. Renuka Solu

KATHMANDU: An ‘International Nepali Society, Women’s Committee’ has been formed under the International Nepali Society. Dr. Renuka Solu (Nepal) has been elected as the chairperson of the committee.

Similarly, Urmila Nirdoshi (USA) is the Senior Vice President, Najwul Khan ‘Neelam’ (Nepal), Manju Pant (Canada) and Namita Dawadi (New Zealand) are the Vice Presidents, Subhadra Bhandari (Austria) is the General Secretary, Lily Adhikari (Nepal) is the Secretary and Shubhalakshmi Koirala (Nepal) is the Treasurer. Among the members selected are Sita Adhikari (Nepal), Indira Chamling (Belgium), Anjita Sunar (Nepal), Yangji Sherpa (Nepal), Sumitra Rai (China), Sujata Ghalan (UAE) and Geeta Niraula (Japan).

Solu, the chairperson of the newly formed committee, said that she was happy to take on the responsibility and congratulated the other office bearers.
