Police arrest youth with narcotics, including marijuana, in Dharan
The detained individual has been identified as 24-year-old Deepak Mudel from Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-8, Dhankuta.
KATHMANDU: A man has been apprehended by the police in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-20, including with a cache of narcotics, notably marijuana.
During a routine check by the temporary police post stationed at Bishnupaduka, a youth travelling in a vehicle with the registration number Ko 1 Ja 2178, heading towards Dharan from Dhankuta, was apprehended.
The detained individual has been identified as 24-year-old Deepak Mudel from Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-8, Dhankuta.
Upon apprehension, the police discovered 4 kilograms and 400 grams of narcotics, including marijuana, concealed within a black bag hidden inside a suspicious backpack carried by him.
Further investigation into the circumstances surrounding his apprehension is being conducted by the local police office in Dharan.
