Man dies of lightning strike in Jhapa

He was seriously injured by lightning while spreading fertilizer in a corn field near his home and died during treatment at Birta City Hospital Birtamode.

KATHMANDU: A 54-year-old Mohan Prasad Dulal, a resident of Arjundhara Municipality-2 Chaurase, Jhapa, died on Tuesday afternoon after being struck by lightning.

He was seriously injured by lightning while spreading fertilizer in a corn field near his home and died during treatment at Birta City Hospital Birtamode.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
