DPM Shrestha visiting to China

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha has been invited to an official visit to China at the invitation of Wang Yi, the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China and a member of the Central Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China.

The Ministry has informed that he is scheduled to visit China from Chaith 11 to 19 (March 24 to April 1).

During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha will hold bilateral talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Chaith 13 (March 26).

Additionally, he is scheduled to engage in meetings with high-level officials of the Democratic People’s Republic of China in Beijing and other provinces.

The Ministry has also indicated that Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha’s itinerary includes programs to meet with prominent figures of the Democratic People’s Republic of China’s democratic system in Beijing and other regions.

Following the completion of his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha is expected to return to Nepal on Chaith 19 (April 1).
