A special event was held in Kathmandu on Saturday to mark the occasion, where cinema owners were honored with appreciation letters, and cast and crew members received a ‘Token of Love.’
The celebration also included a cake-cutting ceremony.
The event was graced by director and writer Naveen Chauhan, along with lead actors Bipin Karki, Miruna Magar, Parikshya Limbu, and singer Sujan Chapagain, whose musical contribution has been widely credited for the film’s success.
While fans have expressed strong interest in a sequel due to the film’s cliffhanger ending, director Chauhan clarified during an informal conversation with journalists at the celebration that a sequel will not be produced. He believes that continuing the story would dilute its emotional depth and storytelling charm.
The soundtrack has played a major role in the film’s popularity, with songs like Phool, Makhamali, Kafle, and Chainejo Jindagani Ma becoming instant hits among audiences.
Many attribute the initial wave of viewers to the powerful appeal of the music, with singer Sujan Chapagain receiving much of the credit for drawing crowds during the early days of release.
