KATHMANDU: Makalu Khabar’s nationwide motivational initiative, “Laughter for Life – The Motivation Session,” has successfully concluded its first season, wrapping up the final program in Itahari on Friday.

Designed to inspire young people through a blend of entertainment, positive thinking, confidence-building and life guidance, the tour began on Jestha 10 at the Nepal Academy in Kathmandu.

The program then traveled across major cities including Pokhara, Butwal, Chitwan, Birgunj, and Birtamod before concluding in Itahari.

According to organizers, the series ran on Jestha 10 in Kathmandu, 15 in Pokhara, 16 in Butwal, 17 in Chitwan, 19 in Birgunj, 21 in Birtamode, and 22 in Itahari.

Organizers said the events drew strong participation from students, youth groups, advertisers, and partner organizations throughout the country.

The campaign was backed by multiple corporate and institutional partners.

Xtreme Energy Drink served as the main sponsor, while Yashoda Foods’ Kurent noodles partnered as a powered-by brand. Nepal Life Insurance participated as an associate partner.

Healthcare support was provided by Kathmandu Medical College, with Capital Model College as the educational partner. RightPath Career Counseling joined as a career guidance partner.

Other partners included LRR Motors (Geely EX5) as the four-wheeler partner, Safe Ride as ride partner, and Yeti Airlines as airline partner.

Additional collaborations included brands such as Shree Kesh Hair Oil, Honda, Golden Oak, and Blue Diamond.

With the successful completion of its first season, organizers say preparations are underway to expand the program in its upcoming season with a broader national reach and enhanced format.
