UK-educated Nepalis launch consultancy in Kathmandu
The consultancy, SEA Consultancy, was officially inaugurated by Chief Executive Officer Sushmita Siwakoti.
KATHMANDU: A group of young Nepali professionals, returning after pursuing higher education in the United Kingdom, have launched a new educational consultancy in Kathmandu aimed at guiding students aspiring to study abroad.
The consultancy, SEA Consultancy, was officially inaugurated by Chief Executive Officer Sushmita Siwakoti.
Located in the Kaladhara area of Kathmandu, the consultancy offers a comprehensive range of services including career counseling, academic guidance, visa assistance, IELTS and PTE preparation classes, student visa facilitation, and mock tests for language proficiency exams, according to Managing Director Suman Bhatta.
In addition to Siwakoti and Bhatt, the consultancy is backed by investors Eros Maharjan and Aakash Kumar Agrawal.
CEO Shivakoti emphasized that the firm aims to provide students with high-quality, professional, and transparent educational guidance.
SEA Consultancy will offer study abroad guidance for destinations including the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Canada, Europe, and New Zealand.
Siwakoti and Bhatt, both UK-educated, bring extensive experience in the field, having worked in the education consultancy sector prior to returning to Nepal.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, CEO Siwakoti pledged the consultancy’s commitment to delivering reliable services, professional guidance, and transparent processes to all students seeking international education opportunities.
