Two youths behead friend, surrender to police

KATHMANDU: A chilling murder has shaken Kailali’s Ghodaghodi Municipality after a minor dispute turned deadly.
Police reported that 28-year-old Keshar Singh Budha, a resident of Chaukune Rural Municipality-3, Surkhet, was beheaded late Friday night following a quarrel while drinking and eating with friends.
In a shocking twist, the two suspects—18-year-old Balbahadur Bik and 19-year-old Ganga Budha Chhetri of Ghodaghodi—walked into the Sukhad Area Police Office carrying the victim’s severed head to surrender.
According to DSP Raj Kumar Singh of the District Police Office Kailali, the suspects’ sudden surrender left officers stunned.
