Seven killed in bus accident in Kavrepalanchowk

KATHMANDU: Seven people lost their lives in a tragic bus accident at Buchchakhot in Namobuddha Municipality-2 of Kavrepalanchowk district.

The accident occurred today when a passenger bus (Ba 3 Kha 8398) travelling from Banepa to Sagure via Kharpachowk of Roshi Rural Municipality crashed along the BP Highway section.

According to DSP Rabin Bista of Kavrepalanchowk Police, 15 injured passengers were rescued and sent to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Police said further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
