KATHMANDU: Tulsa Adhikari, widely known as “TikTok Tulsa Collection,” has been produced before the Lalitpur District Court for her court statement in an ongoing fraud case.
Adhikari was earlier sent back to police custody after her statement could not be completed on Monday.
She was brought to court as part of legal proceedings in a case filed against her over allegations of large-scale financial fraud.
According to police, the operator of “Hamro Automobiles,” based in Satdobato, filed a complaint on Aug 9, 2025 (Bhadra 24, 2082 BS), accusing Adhikari of defrauding Rs 65,229,075.
She had reportedly been absconding since Bhadra before fleeing the country via China and reaching Thailand.
She was later arrested with the assistance of INTERPOL through international coordination.
As the case falls under the jurisdiction of the Lalitpur District Court, police have presented her to the District Police Range, Lalitpur.
Lalitpur Police Chief SSP Hobindra Bogati stated that if her statement is completed today, the court will proceed with a custody hearing (thunchek bahas), after which further legal action will follow based on the court’s decision.
