KATHMANDU: The announcement for the film “The Mahaveer” has been made, with the production team unveiling a thematic poster to mark the occasion.

Directed by G.B. Agri, the plot details of the movie have not been revealed yet, though the poster gives a clue. The red and dark tones in the poster suggest that the story may revolve around a war backdrop.

The film’s slogan, “Rise, Fight, Conquer,” reflects the central conflict between two opposing forces, urging to rise, fight, and conquer.

The screenplay for the film has been written by Krishna Bike and G.B. Agri. “The Mahaveer” will be presented by Lakshara Films, with Krishna Bike, B.R. Reddy, and Santosh Luhar as producers. Co-producers include Rambha Devi and Laxman Bike.

The executive producer is renowned music composer Suresh Adhikari, and the Director of Photography (DOP) is Saran Rishi.

The movie will be produced in both Hindi and Nepali languages and will feature Dolby Atmos sound, according to the production team.

While the cast details have not been disclosed yet, and no release date has been announced, Director G.B. Agri shared, “We will announce the cast and release date soon. Our movie lineup will be strong and unexpected.”
