Teaser of movie ‘Cetaamol’ released, set to hit theaters on Aug 8

KATHMANDU: The official teaser for the upcoming Nepali feature film Cetaamol has been released.

The film is scheduled for nationwide release on Shrawan 23 (Aug 8).

Coinciding with National Paddy Day and Dahi Chiura Day, the 1-minute-49-second teaser was unveiled on Sunday.

The teaser opens with the poignant line, “Jumleli needs water to live, Rolpali needs Cetaamol to heal,” offering a glimpse into the film’s emotional and socially resonant narrative.

Directed by Raj Bahadur Saney, the film follows a heartfelt love story between two characters played by Saugat Malla and Benisha Hamal, tracing their journey from childhood to marriage, capturing life’s trials and tribulations along the way.

Sitamol features a strong ensemble cast including Shree Krishna Niroula, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiuwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, RR Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child artists Karan Pariyar and Aradhya Rajyalaxmi DC. Notably, Shree Krishna and Januka are making their silver screen debut through this film.

The movie is produced by Tulsi Devi Film Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Juntara Films.

The story is penned by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Saney. Simos Sunuwar presents the film, with Bhugol Kumar Karki and Bikash Raj Joshi as producers. Apsara Nepali, Ajaya Malla, and Kumar KC are executive producers, while Gangaram Shrestha serves as co-producer.
