KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives witnessed repeated disruptions as opposition lawmakers obstructed proceedings shortly after the session resumed following a 15-minute adjournment.

Lawmakers stood in protest, demanding that Prime Minister Balen Shah’s controversial remarks be removed from the parliamentary record.

They also insisted that the Prime Minister must issue a formal apology.

Despite repeated appeals from the Speaker urging the opposition to allow the House to function smoothly, the protesting lawmakers continued their obstruction, refusing to take their seats and halting the proceedings once again.
