KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in the domestic market recorded a modest decline today, with both precious metals seeing a slight drop compared to the previous trading day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold decreased by Rs 200 per tola, settling at Rs 311,100.

Similarly, silver fell by Rs 85 per tola, with the new rate fixed at Rs 5,285 per tola.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 311,300 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,370 per tola, reflecting the latest downward adjustment in domestic pricing.

In the international market, gold is currently trading at around USD 4,461 per ounce, while silver is priced at approximately USD 75 per ounce, according to international media reports.
