KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli lands in Jhapa on Friday afternoon via a Yeti Airlines flight.

He landed at Bhadrapur Airport at 3:20 pm.

The CPN-UML Jhapa district committee had made special arrangements to welcome him.

Party leaders, cadres, and well-wishers were present at the airport to receive Oli.

According to sources close to him, Oli will stay in Jhapa until Feb 13.

During his stay, he will be mainly focused on election-related activities in Jhapa Constituency No. 5.

His schedule includes direct interactions and discussions with party leaders, grassroots workers, and local voters.

The meetings will center on strengthening the party organization, assessing the current political situation, and shaping strategies for the upcoming elections.

UML leaders stated that Oli’s visit aims to gain firsthand insight into the party’s organizational strength at the local level, understand public sentiment, and further consolidate the party’s position in the district.
