NUP Chair Shrestha calls central committee meeting
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Bhadra 31– Sept 1 at Hotel Yellow Pagoda on Kantipath, Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU: Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhary, Chairperson of the Nagrik Unmukti Party (NUP), has called a meeting of the party’s central committee.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Bhadra 31– Sept 1 at Hotel Yellow Pagoda on Kantipath, Kathmandu.
According to party sources, the meeting will invite founding central members, members of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies, as well as local-level mayors and deputy mayors.
Key agenda items include current political issues, amendments to the party constitution, central member nominations, updates on procedures at the Election Commission, and other diverse topics.
The meeting is considered particularly important as internal debates over organizational strengthening and party expansion have intensified in recent times.
