KATHMANDU: Nepal will bowl first against Scotland in Tuesday’s T20 World Cup clash after captain Rohit Paudel won the toss at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

In a change from their previous match, Nepal has brought in Sundeep Jora for Karan KC, marking Jora’s debut in the tournament. Karan, a medium pacer, went wicketless in Nepal’s first three games.

Nepal is yet to secure a win, having lost all three of their opening matches.

Scotland, who lost to West Indies and England, managed a victory over Italy.

Both teams are now out of contention for the Super 8 stage, while West Indies and England have already advanced from Group C with three wins each.

Due to Bangladesh withdrawing from the tournament, Scotland replaced them at the last moment and played all three of their initial matches at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

This will be Scotland’s first game in Mumbai.

Nepal, meanwhile, has played all four of its matches at Wankhede Stadium but has struggled to capitalize on the home ground advantage.

This will be the third T20 International meeting between Nepal and Scotland.

During a triangular series in Scotland in May–June, both teams won one match each.
